About YUNIE

YUNIE Crochet is a small, slow-made crochet brand born from a love of handmade fashion — thoughtfully, intentionally, and with a little bit of heart in every stitch.

Every piece is made here in Auckland, New Zealand, with materials sourced from local stores. Most pieces are created with recycled and repurposed t-shirt yarn, giving new life to materials that would otherwise go to waste. In addition, each YUNIE bag is usually one of a kind or made in small batches — making each one just that little bit more special. 

YUNIE was born from a desire to express creativity freely, and turn passion into something beautiful. The time and effort I put into each piece fits in between my full-time job — often crocheting after long shifts or during breaks. I put my heart into everything I make, and only hope that you’ll love it as much as I do.
